Itinerary

Day 1 : JAMBI – SUNGAI PENUH
Arrival at Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport. Our Guide meet you in Airport. Lunch di Local Restaurant Jambi. On 12.30 pm go to Kerinci. It takes approximately 10-12 hours from Jambi overland. Dinner at Local Restaurant in Pauh. Arrive at Sungai Penuh, Kerinci ± 00.00 am.
Check - in Hotel, Free Program.

DAY 02 : SUNGAI PENUH KERINCI
Breakfast in hotel. Take a rest. After Lunch, 12.00 a.m, we go sightseeing to Bukit Kahyangan. It takes approximately 3 hours. Then go to Hostspring in Semurup at 4.00 a.m and takes two hours for you taking traditional bathroom or with Pancuran Air Panas, boilled egg or banana, and eating some food there.
Back to your hotel and at 07.00 a.m, you will get dinner in your hotel or restaurant.
In the evening you can see Sungai Penuh Town activities with Pasar Malam. You can buy what you need necessary to complete your food and beverage and equipment in your adventure.
Return to hotel and sleep.

DAY 03 : KERSIK TUO – MOUNT KERINCI
Depart from Sungai Penuh to Kersik Tuo at 07.30 pm. It takes approximately 2 hours until there. Mt. Kerinci is highest volcano in all of Indonesia (3,805 meters above sea level). A dominant feature of the regional landscape, Mt. Kerinci can be seen on clear days bellowing smoke and steam from its rockstrewn summit.

While some people are content with taking Photos of the mountain frow below, the volcano’s summit is a frequent destination for more hearty souls interested in gaining an unsurpassed birds eye view of the Sumatra landscape. On clear days you can see as far as Mt. Singgalang and Mt. Merapi to the North, Mt. Sumbing to the South, and the Indian Ocean to the West.

Climbing Mt. kerinci takes approximately nine hours, depending on one’s fitness level from Kersik Tuo. Strated climing at 08.00 a.m. from the park entrancegate. There we rest before tackling the final portion of the climb in the early morning, arriving at the summit in time to watch the sunrise over Lake Gunung Tujuh – an almost religious experience.
Returning to Kersik Tuo by mid afternoon.

DAY 04 : MOUNT KERINCI – KERSIK TUO
After returned from Mt. kerinci, you will be take rest a moment in your homestay, eating some food and beverages what you are.
We will massage you by traditional massage.
In the evening you can see how peoples live.

DAY 05 : LAKE GUNUNG TUJUH
The highest caldera lake in Southeast Asia (1,996 meters above sea level). It was created when the ancient volcano’s exhausted cone with water, it is surrounded by mountains, namely :
• Mt. Tujuh,
• Mt. Hulu Tebo,
• Mt. Jar Panggang,
• Mt. Mandura Besi,
• Mt. Hulu Sangir and
• Mt. Selasih.
Many wild life lives on Lake Gunung Tujuh. Some activites there that you can swim, canoe if a fisherman fishing by rent their canoes, take some pictures and etc.
Lake Gunung Tujuh is located near the village of Pelompek. It’s a one of Kerinci Seblat National Park areas. It takes approximately 4 hours to reach there from Pelompek. We will go there after breakfast.
We will get lunch there by Nasi Bungkus (rice and entrée wrapped in a banana leaf or paper) or lunch with some food our bring.
After lunch, we will go to Telun Berasap Waterfall. And then go to Sungai Sampun Village and takes Waterfall. And then go to Sungai Sampun Village and takes rest. In evening you can talk to peoples and join with them.

DAY 06 : KASAH CAVE
Kasah Cave is good excuse to get out and enjoy Kerinci’s Scenic countryside. Several naturally occurring images adorn the cave’s walls and bats line one portion of the ceiling.
There are some handwritten al-Qur’an on walls by written of ancestral of Kerinci over last several centuries.
Embark from Sungai Sampun to the caves approximately 3. 5 hours on a relatively flat train. We through wet rice fields and awamps part of Lake Bentom on a raised dirt part topped with wood logs and branches ( if your sense of balance is not good at the beginning of this trip, it will by the end you ).
Return to Sungai Sampun.
We prepared to PTP VIII Kayoe Aro. Tea Pabrique was built of Dutch and see Tea Plantation at afternoon. After that, go back to Sungai Penuh.

DAY 07 : SUNGAI PENUH - JAMBI
Breakfast in hotel. Check – out Hotel and back to Jambi at 09.00am. Arrive at Jambi ± 21.00 pm, Check – in Hotel at Jambi, Free program.

Day 08 : JAMBI
Breakfast in Hotel. Check - out Hotel. At 08.00 am go to Sultan Thaha Airport Jambi & fly with Mandala / Riau Airline to Batam or Sriwijaya Air to Jakarta.
